“P.U.S.H.” Pray Until Something Happens!

       Prayer is a powerful thing. Prayer can also be a confusing thing for kids. Many kids think they don’t pray “good enough.” Many times, it is because of a lack of understanding as to what prayer really is. In this series, children will learn very practical ways they can pray for others. From praying for the sick to praying for our missionaries to praying for an unsaved friend or family member, these lessons will teach kids how to “Pray Until Something Happens!”

     Each Lesson has several parts to it that help drive home the message. “The Big Idea” which is a simple statement that sums up the entire week’s lesson. Sometimes it rhymes, sometimes it relies on rhythm, and other times it is just crazy! The plan is to have the kids learn the BIG IDEA by repetition. Each lesson is reinforced by a game and short Video Skits. Because kids tend to learn best if you combine speaking the truth with visual illustrations, we have an illustrated sermon that is used each week. Each sermon has a PowerPoint presentation for each main point.

       Kids grades 1 – 4 can come join us Sunday Mornings for this eye opening series that is sure to help them live in step with what God has called him or her to be!

 Series runs April 10, 2011 through June 12, 2011. We will be in Church with our families on the Sunday’s of Easter, Mother’s Day, Memorial Day and The first Sunday each month for Communion and Baptism
