Dundee Baptist Church, also known as “The Church on the Hill” due to our beautifully elevated location overlooking Lake Marie, is a Spirit-filled Southern Baptist congregation that definitely has the hand of God upon it.
During the last seven years DBC has practically tripled in attendance and giving, and has added some tremendous ministries like Reflections of Grace (a monthly food and clothing distribution), and AWANA, a dynamic ministry to children involving interactive games and Scripture memorization.
Upon entering our campus one will feel at home in our open, relaxed and friendly atmosphere. One will encounter men dressed in anything from jeans to suits and women in anything from slacks to dressy dresses; business casual is perfectly fine. Our greeters and ushers are near the entrances to welcome folks and answer any questions. At our guest services desk you will be able to pick up brochures, sign up for any of our current activities, purchase a book or CD, or just ask for information about the church.
Extended sessions are available for infants through three years of age. Children who are four and five years old are invited to attend their very own age appropriate children’s church. All first through fourth graders will enjoy attending the children’s church led by Audra Emrich, our Director of Children’s Ministries. We do background checks on all of our volunteers and employees to help insure the safety of the precious children that God entrusts to us.
We begin Sunday morning services with visual countdowns at 11:00am. Our music worship consists of a blend of newer contemporary selections and grand hymns of the faith. Led by Worship Pastor Jeff Skipper and a very talented praise team, it is always inspiring and beautiful. Following the music, we worship through solid, expository preaching of the Word of God brought to us by Tim Bullington, our Senior Pastor.
The staff at Dundee Baptist Church includes Senior Pastor Tim Bullington (9 years); Worship Pastor, Jeff Skipper (2 years); Director of Children’s Ministries, Audra Emrich(3 years); Administrative Assistant, Cindy Bullington (6 years); Bookkeeper/Church Secretary, Nancy Crawford (4 years); and Recording/Church Secretary, Sue Mannis (4 years).
