Henry Link

Lead Pastor

Pastor Henry and his family arrived at The Church On The Hill in 2021 from central Alabama where he served on staff of a church for eight years as Family and Discipleship Pastor and then Lead Teaching Pastor. He has a passion for preaching the Word, making disciples, and shepherding the flock of God. His aim in life is "to proclaim Jesus to everyone, everywhere, every day."

Born and raised in the mountains of southeastern Kentucky, Pastor Henry grew up going to church and hearing the stories of Jesus. But it wasn't until he was 15 years old that his eyes were opened to the truth of the Gospel and his heart was awakened to life through faith in Christ. He was called to ministry his senior year in high school and has served in ministry for almost 20 years including time with Life Action Ministries as well as serving the local church in pastoral ministry. Henry earned his Bachelor of Science in Religion with an emphasis in Christian ministry from Liberty University and is in the final steps of the Advanced Master of Divinity program through Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary.

While serving and traveling with Life Action Ministries, Henry met his wife, Kayla who also traveled with them in children's ministry, and they were married in July of 2006. Kayla is a stay-at-home mom as they homeschool their daughter and son, Kherington and Hudson. They love to go to the beach and watch superhero movies together as a family.

Jerry Gleason

Administrative Pastor

Pastor Jerry and his wife of nearly 50 years come to us from the windy city of Chicago, IL. His objective in ministry is "To serve in a capacity that will glorify the Father and the Son."

He earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree from Southwest Baptist University and a Master of Divinity Degree from New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary and numerous certified trainings both with the military and in Christian ministry. Thirty-five years in Pastoral Ministry (thirty-two of which were in two churches) and twenty-five years as a military chaplain have well-equipped Jerry for the position of Administrative Pastor.

Included in his vast field of experience are beginning a Christian academy and school board and overseeing it as headmaster for several years, rewriting church constitutions & by-laws and church policies and procedures, forming and overseeing budgets for the churches he has served, as well as teaching military seminars and serving as a volunteer in many community organizations and events.

In his spare time he enjoys spending time with his children and grandchildren, classic cars, and is quite the "handy-man".

Kyle Kilpatrick

Student Pastor

Kyle Kilpatrick is the Student Pastor here at The Church on the Hill. He grew up in Polk County, Florida, and he currently lives in Lake Wales, Florida. Kyle graduated from The Baptist College of Florida in 2018 with a Bachelor's degree in Missions. During his time at BCF, he was a youth pastor at a small church in Graceville, Florida, and completed an internship in the chaplaincy department of Graceville Correctional Facility.

Kyle was called into ministry in July of 2013, and preached his first sermon when he was 18 years old in Auburndale, Florida. He has a burning desire for the gospel of Jesus Christ which collides with his burden for the lost. Some of his biggest influences in modern history are Jonathan Edwards, Charles Spurgeon, R.C. Sproul, and John Piper. He is always looking for opportunities to share the gospel and make disciples of Jesus Christ.

Kyle has been married to Emily since June of 2017 and she is a major help in our youth ministry. Kyle enjoys spending time with his family and watching and playing most sports, with the exception of basketball. He is a loyal Florida Gators football fan and becomes very "passionate" during their games. In his spare time he likes to travel to new places, workout, go to the beach, and give theological lectures to his wife, unsolicited of course.

The loves of Wendy's life are Jesus, her husband and kids, and her church family. Jesus has given her a heart for people and a heart for missions as well.
